On a very hot day, 56 Past Captains took part. Thankfully, we all finished, with our President, Roger Beavis, winning the Captain's prize with a fine 37 pts.

Roger won this competition for the 2nd time, the first being in 2014. 

Roger couldn't accept the prize in 2014 nor 2026 because the prizes were all bottles of wine. As a non-drinker, the Captain kindly presented him with a new pair of golf shoes from the pro-shop instead.

The course was in good condition, considering the current weather  and rain is much needed on the fairways.  Our thanks go the club catering/bar staff for a delicious three - course meal. and 'cold' beers!
