The Inter Counties event was held at  Hazlemere GC on  a very, very hot day. Berkshire performed well with all pairings achieving par or better.

Briefly, our 196 total was declared the winner but 45 points, the best score of the day had, wrongly, been allocated to Gloucestershire. When corrected to Oxfordshire we were relegated to second.

A special mention for Brian Aldridge and Richard Beasley with BGC’s top score of 42 points.
