Our last meeting of the year was held at Goring & Streatley Golf Club.

An early start for 60 players meant that there was a lot of mist over the course, however, the sun came up over the top of the hill to give fantastic views over the surrounding countryside.  The course was in superb condition, given the summer we have had. The greens were of an electrifying pace, which many of us struggled with, which was reflected in the scores. The winning points being only 37.

A much needed pint was had, followed by a lovely meal. Our thanks go to the 'green staff' the chef and the bar staff for looking after us so well.

Major highlight of the day as a 'hole in one' by Brendan McKevitt (R) on the 4th hole, who shared his whisky and port with us all.
